Seriously, I saw Sinister on Saturday evening and it’s still messing with me when I go to bed each night. In the sea of pop culture crap that tries to pass as “horror,” this is the real thing.
If you have someone in your life who is a fan of classic monster movies, this Universal Monsters 9″ Frankenstein figure by Mezco Toys is a pretty good gift idea. And just in case you were wondering, I have a spot on the shelf in the lair that would make old Frank feel right at home.
Seriously. I saw this figure at Toys R Us the other day but it’s that time of the year when I’m not allowed to buy stuff for myself. 😉

Good evening everyone. Wow, what a weekend! We made it through the first annual Scarydad Halloween Bash and boy was it fun! Only just now are the various potions and poisons I consumed beginning to wear off. My fangs are retracting as we speak but the sensitivity to light is still pretty intense. I believe this recovery may take a while.
But hey, I’m still here for you. Tonight we present some horror fodder to help you sleep a little better. Pay special attention to American Horror Story. This is a truly frightening show and I cannot wait for Wednesday night for the second episode.

Good Evening Minions and Happy October! I apologize for the span of time between the last post and this one. You see, I was compelled to travel to the most haunted city on Earth to collect stories and pictures for you, my beloved. Unfortunately I had both crappy internet and a serious case of the being on vacation and wasted on Bourbon Street to properly keep up with the daily business.
But, I am back! I have a camera full of haunting images and a few great stories that I promise to tell you tomorrow. In the meantime I must go perform the “dad” part of Scarydad and put my #1 minion to bed. Enjoy this picture of a skeleton breaking out of a coffin and say a few prayers. Good morning Minions. Today we celebrate the life of someone really neat; the great Shel Silverstein. Although his works aren’t specifically horrifying, his weird and quirky stories and poems are at least somewhat responsible for my twisted worldview.
Good evening Minions. Wow. It has been a very busy week in the lab. I installed some more power and got to work creating havoc and mischief once again. What fun!
