Bats

Good evening. Tonight’s project is very inexpensive, but very clever. I guarantee everyone will be impressed with this one. When Bride hatched the plan, I was pretty impressed myself. It also only takes 5-10 minutes to make these. All you need is  a sharpie, scissors, a stapler, and some trash bags.

I happened to use heavy-duty contractor clean up bags, but any black trash bags will work. This bag is folded into quarters so that we get 4 bats out of the bag. The bigger bats came from a bag folded in half.

DIY

Draw your pattern with the sharpie. Practice on a piece of scratch paper if you like. Then cut it out.

Voila! You now have 4 bats. Fold the other bag in half and cut out 2 large bats, then attach to the fence.

And there you go. Huge, mural-sized yard decorations for the price of 2 trash bags and a few minutes of your time. Why aren’t these on your fence already?
