Guest Post: Matt’s Ghost Story
Tonight’s post comes to us from friend and fellow blogger Matt Cashdollar. Matt normally writes about mysterious and frightening things such as technology and automation. When I was a kid, my friends and I would go camping in the woods near my
house. This was when I lived near the Appalachian mountains, in rural
Pennsylvania. Nearby was “the strip mine” which was an old open pit coal
mine that had been flooded with water and turned into a series of small
ponds and a general garbage dumping area for the county. We decided to go
camping just off the dirt road next to the strip mine. Our road didn’t
have a name – it was just called Rural Delivery #1. We were all poor,
redneck kids.

Hello there everyone. Well, it’s that time again. Time for me to share with you all the awesome stuff that makes the world just a little bit better for your lovable old friend Scarydad. Tonight we begin with one of the best things you can have on your bookshelf: The Complete Calvin and Hobbes. I don’t own the collection but I do have all the old books and I can tell you that this strip only gets better with age. One of the best and most honest social commentaries ever.

Good evening my friends. Tonight I share with you some fun little videos from around the net. You see, I have been in an epic battle with the flu and although it was touch and go for a few days there, it seems as if victory is finally mine. It also means that I still don’t feel good and I haven’t been in my shop for more than a week so I haven’t been able to prepare any new and fun things to show and tell. Fret not, however. I shall be back to my old shenanigans in no time at all. In the meantime, please share in some of the things that keep me entertained.
