Tonight The Morrigan and I show you how to create and cultivate your own Glort. What is a Glort, you ask?
A Glort is a thing you can make with ingredients you probably already have around the house. It eats fingers and is totally evil so there’s lots of fun to be had.
Ingredients are:
- Cornstarch
- Water
- Food Coloring
- Googly Eyes
- Teeth
Mix the cornstarch and water until the Glort begins to resist. Then add your food coloring and a bit more cornstarch. 
You will know it’s just about done when you try to dump the Glort out onto the counter and it tries to hold on to the cup. Feel free to scoop it a bit. Don’t let your creations give you any lip.
Once you’ve successfully coaxed the Glort out of hiding, feel free to poke it with sharp things. Does cornstarch and water feel pain? Hell if I know. But it sure does behave when you poke it.
Feel free to play with your Glort. It’s not really that messy. But make sure you’re done playing with it before you move to the next step. We found out the hard way.
Once we gave it eyes and teeth, The Morrigan decided she wanted to take it home and keep it as a pet. Unfortunately the newly-toothed Glort had other ideas.
Let this be a lesson to anyone who tries to create a living thing from the random crap you find lying around your kitchen. There’s about 99% chance it won’t work but if it does, you can never be sure whatever you make won’t bite the hell out of you.
This Glort was quickly introduced to the garbage disposal.
