SDP EP 186: Return of the Horror!!!

Man, what a crazy couple of weeks!

We did the Houston Horror Film Festival and it was super-awesome but totally insane. Let me tell you- I walked the soles off my shoes but Scott lapped everybody several times over. That dude is one hell of an event coordinator!

The next week was the Eastern Rim Convention over in Baytown and Scott was over there as well, helping out and repping the horror community.

So, here we are, two weeks late for a new episode. But that’s okay because we have so much fun at the conventions and events and that’s where we get to meet so many of you in person. There was definitely Scarydad stuff going on, hot though it is.

SDP EP 179: Body Horror

Good morning! This week we got together with our friend Boom to talk about Body Horror!

SDP EP 173: Gateway Horror

It’s that time again! Today we are joined by our good friend Boom to talk about Gateway Horror. It’s all that stuff that wasn’t actually designed to be scary or sold as horror, but they threw at us anyway because we were Gen X and home alone most of the time and could take our Happy Meals with frightening minimum-wage workers in dead-eyed masks as mascots.

SDP EP 168: The Spanish Inquisition

Welcome to episode 168 of the Scarydad Podcast where we discuss current events, this day in history, and the subject of our choice. For today’s episode we discuss the Spanish Inquisition. Did you know that the Spanish Inquisition lasted nearly 300 years? And did you know that despite its notorious reputation, it was a kinder, gentler inquisition compared to its international counterparts?

Join us today and find out more about the Spanish Inquisition!
